Sorry, have completely posted here for trafficking.

Basically, how do you all know what 'colour zone' your area is in for the weather where you are?

Because I'm thinking surely something must be upon us soon.

There's hardly any snow here yet everything is closed and no schools or offices open

Apparantly we are yellow. But there's nothing here! And the forecast just says light snow. So no idea
