Facebook related sorry.

Someone has posted a wad of money and titled it “holiday spends”

Hmm I just don’t understand what they are trying to prove.

No hate but it’s a package holiday to Tenerife.

Total vulgarians! Grin

honeysucklejasmine · 28/02/2018 23:41

Stupid of them. Hope there are no unsavoury types amongst their friends or friends of friends who may see post.

Somerford · 28/02/2018 23:42

What a berk. I hope they get sunburn.

Taylor22 · 28/02/2018 23:42

I bet they've posted when they will be leaving their house vacant for extended periods of time as well.

Hope they've got enough to replace the stuff that gets nicked :/

HarrietKettle · 28/02/2018 23:43

I think it's a bit crass and unnecessary to bitch about someone's holiday choice but hey-ho.

Klobuchar · 28/02/2018 23:44

What an idiot. I mean, really

Birdsgottafly · 28/02/2018 23:44

I'm generally pleased for people, so i would have liked it and looked forward to the photos.

Birdsgottafly · 28/02/2018 23:45

Oh and they aren't "trying to prove" anything, they are sharing their joy, do you remember what joy is?

BlueCrystalM · 28/02/2018 23:50

Holiday photos? Yes of course fine.

A photo of a pile of money. No. I couldn’t imagine getting my currency, lying it out on the table taking a photo of it and then uploading it to social media. I don’t see the point.

Why would you advertise that you had a large sum of money in the house and that you were going to be out of it for a week or so?

shetookshelter · 01/03/2018 00:16

Lots of people post inane crap on social media. If it bothers you, unfollow them. That's what I do.

LoisWilkersonsLastNerve · 01/03/2018 00:30

People post pics of their cuts/poo/boobs/rashes/meals etc so a was of cash doesn't surprise me sadly.

twattymctwatterson · 01/03/2018 01:03

Yep it's tacky. So is looking down your nose at package holidays to Tenerife wish I was going

Klobuchar · 01/03/2018 01:08

What’s the temperature like in the Canaries at this time of year?

SheGotBetteDavisEyes · 01/03/2018 01:09

Bit of an odd thing too, but mainly, I strongly dislike the term 'spends.'

Charliecatpaws · 01/03/2018 01:54

If I go on holiday it's all inclusive - just because I'm lazy and can't be bothered to cook, so money is minimal 😂

AussieSamurai · 01/03/2018 01:58

People post any and everything now days, because basically their life is social media, and they are too shyte scared to step out the front door, so posting their crap on line is a way of showing their friends their crap, BUT there will be some snowflake somewhere on the planet who will be offended by the post.

I for example only post photographs of my kids and recipes on Facebook and I have lost 3 accounts in the past year because people were upset about photographs of my kids. I had a photo of my son at 4 weeks old in the bath with me, he was sleeping in my arms and his privates covered and someone reported it as child porn.

Facebook

I only just opened a new account a few days ago because of the cowards.

Well, that money won't be in the house will it? It's their holiday currency, they'll be taking it with them.

I wouldn't do it though.

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 01/03/2018 02:02

They're probably up to their eyes in debt and worrying where their next mortgage payment is coming from.
Its very easy to make out your life is perfect and that you're on top of the world

Klobuchar · 01/03/2018 02:10

No, the money won’t be in the empty house obviously. But it’s there now and in addition to that, the house won’t be occupied when they’re away, that’s what I meant

Thisimmortalcurl · 01/03/2018 02:13

It depends really, if they are loaded in general then I would think they were arseholes however if they had been saving for months and were happy as Larry and amazed at there spends I would wish them well to enjoy it .

BeverlyHillsBillie · 01/03/2018 02:14

'Spends' makes me feel a bit icky.

Thisimmortalcurl · 01/03/2018 02:16

The canaries Klob is usually around 20/23 degrees at this time of year however they have for the last couple of months had an quite a lot of stormy weather and rain which the islands are not used to dealing with at all.

Thisimmortalcurl · 01/03/2018 02:17

Does it Beverley would you prefer currency exchanged.

BeverlyHillsBillie · 01/03/2018 02:19

Spending money would suffice, thanks.

Or disposable income if you want to be more formal about it.
