AIBU?
Buyer misdescribes something for £30 which was about the going rate for the item. Won't put too much ID info, but it is for fitting into a house so accuracy important. Courier picks up item (30 miles away from a 4th floor flat with no lift), it is delivered to my house. Seller a bit of a PITA and not quick to reply to emails. Actual Item is not what was described so unusable. Thinking about it, photography is a bit 'tricky' so obviously they know it is not right. Annoyed, I source another one but have to pay more as time now of the essence. Contact eBay to open dispute. Buyer immediately refunds. I contact buyer at the same time I receive the refund to say thanks for the refund, do you want the thing back? I explain why the listing isn't correct. She asked 'where do you live?' I reply with the county name ...She doesn't reply for three days. Today I get a message via eBay 'would it be ok if I re-list the item for collection at your house? Err no love. Relist an incorrect listing at my house so that I have to deal with your buyer realising it's not correct when they arrive? Whilst you take the cash? No ta. Not to mention do I want to wait in for your buyer to not turn up? And my house is bloody difficult to find at he best of times. Who on earth honestly thinks this would be a reasonable request??!
