Signing a boundary plan

May I ask a question to those who have purchased a house.
When I purchased my council house while at the solicitors signing the paperwork I was given the boundary plan to sign to say I had understood which was my boundary.
So has anyone else been asked to sign their boundary plans please?

I'm in the process of buying a new house and I have had to sign a boundary plan too. I can't remember if I did it for this house 10+ years ago.

I just wondered how long this signing the boundary plan has been in force. I signed mine two years ago nearly when buying my house.
I would love to know if it’s possible to get a copy of someone else’s signed copy .i have good reason for this .
