My partner started a business without us agreeing AIBU?

My partner has started his own restaurant business, which we did not agree on but he has gone ahead anyway! For 5 months he was working 7 days a week 9am till 11pm/12 am sometimes later, he borrowed in excess of £20,000 I have no idea how much he makes but I have a feeling it's not much. We have 2 young children and obviously he hasn't seen them much-just half an hour in the morning, he has only just started taking half day off on a Sunday. I do everything for my children and am now effectively a lone parent. He has been working for both of their birthdays and significant family birthdays and Xmas. I can't get over the fact he has done this even though I said I didn't want him too as he would not see the children, would be putting us into debt (with people I don't even know) and risking a house we finally bought together. So AIBU to feel so hurt and angry? This is my first post so please be gentle-it's just all going around in my head!

No, YADNBU (You Are Definitely Not Being Unreasonable). The restaurant business is incredibly risky, and is known for requiring owners to work long hours.

It's even worse if he doesn't have any experience in that line of business- does he?

Thanks for your reply-he has experience but I always said it was such a risk. If the children were older and we had savings then fine but we don't and he's relying on this big loan. His attitude is everything will be fine and we'll be making lots of money soon!!
