If your child is 6 months you don't have to sterilise anymore

Can you get some Milton cold water tablets?

You should sterilise bottles until they are no longer drinking formula. It’s bacteria in the formula not just the bottles.
Until you have a steriliser you can boil bottles for 5 minutes in a pan! I’ve done it when I’ve run out of Milton tablets as I cold water sterilise usually.

Boil in a pan for 5 minutes.

Look on fb selling sites - my local ones are saturated with microwave sterilisers for £5 or free.
