I am MORTIFIED !!!!!!!!!!

On my period and although I’m wearing a tampon I’ve leaked on my desk chair... The fabric is a light green... Can you die of shame?

Any tips on what I should do other than crawl in a hole?? Can’t swap the chair either because it’s a custom one!

Anyone had a similar disaster and if so, do you have any tips?

I have done this twice, both in the same week.. Luckily I work in a really small office with three other women, my manager was so nice about it. We threw a bin bag over it and threw it in the on-site skip... did the same with the second one. It was awful, no hope of cleaning it. I think if you give it a good scrub you can make it dull enough that it might look like muck or wear and tear.

Can you get ink from somewhere and pour it over the stain and say your pen burst?

Bicarbonate of soda. Honestly, I bled in some light coloured jeans and it got it out! Mix it up with a bit of water so it forms a paste and really rub it in. Repeat as many times as you need and use cold water

If you have a gel pen you can take the tube out and blow the ink through the other end. I did this once with a red one to fake a nosebleed... that stuff stains skin!

She's at work though! Can't really indiscretely mix up a bicarb paste and get scrubbing in the office...

Leave it pushed in tonight, come back tomorrow armed with some products. Alternatively, swap it with one of the other seats, it may cause the guy alarm at first, but after a quick trip to the nurse and a probe, he’ll be fine.

I dumped coffee over it and did a runner I’ll bring some salt - bicarbonatee with me tomorrow and stay late! Thanks for all the tips!

Stick a cushion over it, won't make it disappear but will cover it
