Top cashback and virgin media

Ok so not really an AIBU, but I know I'll get honest answers here

Looking at getting virgin media (not my AIBU!) and spoke to people in store about current deals and the package we want is £49 a month (currently £55 if bought online)

I had a google to see if any better deals online and topcashback are offering £220 cashback on the same package (buying online at £55 a month, so £60 more over the 12 months but for £220 cashback so still gaining £140)

I'm not a member of topcashback (but use other cash back sites) and just wondered if it was too good to be true.
I'm aware it may take a long time to get the cashback but thats ok

Anyone a member of top cashback or have any tips or horror stories??

Thanks Smile

I use topcashback and prefer them to quidco, which I do use occasionally for special offers or when they offer more than TCB. I've had cashback from Virgin media with them. It paid out without any problems. In fact I think they price-matched quidco that time.

This was a few years ago, the cashback was less, about £163, but it was for a more basic package. I would also use TCB over quidco because I sometimes make household purchases using someone else's card (with their agreement) and quidco can refuse cashback if you do that.

Oh, and £220 minus £60 is £160.😀

I use topcashback all the time but especially for insurance and media.
I have found them to be reliable and trustworthy and have had over £1000 from them over the last few years. Go for it.

I did the same with sky and quidco, and it was declined because sky included a sign up offer of a gift card (not optional) and that breached the terms of not in conjunction with any other offer. It happened to a lot of people so hopefully tcb and virgin will be better!
