Hey Duggee - The Puppy Badge, there's a song clip they plays in it, sounds a bit 80s. It's so familiar but I can't place what it is! Need someone wise to come and put me out of my misery!

YANBU at all, and I have thought the same thing, but I don't think it's an actual sample. Lots of the music in BBC kids programmes is a take-off of well-known music and I reckon this is the same. I'd be delighted to be proved wrong though, and I wish I knew what it reminded me of!

Ha! I've just Shazammed it and it's come up as The Snowman by Duggee and the Squirrels. 😁

Is it ? I don't recognise it at all, it's probably an original for the show I would have thought.

It must sound like something, I'm sure I've heard similar before Duggee was a thing!

It's a new wave pastiche with bits of Kids In America by Kim Wilde (and possibly Just What I Needed by The Cars?). Also a bit Pat Benatar-ish.

Yep, looked on Spotify and 'the snowman' is the full version...

I think it may be a sample of the intro of Rush Hour by Jane Weidlin (sp).

It also bears more than a passing resemblance to the Going Live theme tune!
