Yes you ARE being unreasonable quad

I think you should be tied to a chair and forced to watch HSM for 6 solid hours as punishment

Rachmumoftwo · 03/05/2007 11:29

It is sooo annoying! Not a patch on Grease. Even Grease 2 is better, and that is pretty dire. My DDs love it though, and the peace I get when they watch it is worth it.

KTeePee · 03/05/2007 11:33

Dd wants the dvd and the cd for her birthday

quadrophenia · 03/05/2007 11:38

hang on I'm doing something wrong how do you get peace and quiet when its on its a madhouse, kis flying off tables and allsorts!!!

Anyone taking their kids to see the show? I've got tickets but am seriously considering asking the au pair to take them. She loves that kind of thing and I just don't think I can face it. In fact, I bought the Casino Royale DVD a few weeks ago for her to watch when she was babysitting one evening. Got home to find her watching HSM because she'd got half way through Casino Royale but thought it was "a bit boring"!

Rachmumoftwo · 03/05/2007 12:05

I don't know if I could cope with the show, but if your kids love it and you have tickets you should take them. they will be so happy to share this wonderful experience with their mum. Just grit your tetth and bear it! lol

DrNortherner · 03/05/2007 12:10

Would a 5 yr old boy enjoy it do you think?

GameGirly · 03/05/2007 12:15

Of course I'll end up going - I love taking them to shows - their enthusiasm is contagious. DD1 has it on repeat on her IPod and it is driving me insane, though (still, at least I know all the words and I'll be able to sing along!).

quadrophenia · 03/05/2007 12:21

northener a five year old would love it, you my dear will regret it

I quite live HSM, but maybe I'm just sad, I also love Drake and Josh which dd1 is really into at the moment.

I didn't realise there was a HSM show, think I might try and get tickets.

PeterAndreFanCLub · 03/05/2007 12:45

love it

I have a friend who teaches secondary. The school production this year was High School Musical. Her form have been obsessed for months, with more than a few having roles in the gig. As a finale to the months of being tortured by them 'having' to practice their songs and so on in her form room, she then had to go watch both performances out of class solidarity.

I think that she'd help you throw the damn dvd, in fact, she'd offer to do it for you, and she has a mean arm on her
