He’s currently chainwatching Daniel fucking Tiger. AIBU to think Daniel Tiger is a whingy little shit and his mum is a sanctimonious singing shit. I like to think of them as the The Shit Tigers in the Neighbourhood.

And don’t get me started on Baby Margaret.

The songs stick in my head

I thought it was cute at first but then my son started calling people " neighbour " and that annoyed me ha

It's Marciline or whatever she's called that gets me by saying " toots " and Prince Wednesday

DD used to play the Daniel Tiger game on the Kindle Fire. Sitting there brushing his sodding teeth and choosing what clothes he wore. All to that inane singsong voice. Did she want to clean her own teeth? Did she fuck.

I hate him almost as much as Mike the Knight.

At first I liked it, now that DD is parroting it I find it very very preachy.

"But mummy, sharing is caring"

And the songs all have the same rune that they manipulate the word to.

"You'll feel pro-ou-ou-ou-ou-ou-ou-oud"

All the adult characters speak in these terribly calm understanding voices, like ALL THE TIME
If DS is calling people neighbour by the end of the day there’ll be trouble!

We had to have abit of a break from it because of the calling everyone neighbour, why do they even say that?

Although he does says " Grrrrrr-riffic" I'll let him off with that

I love Daniel Tiger almost as much as I loved Mr Rogers as a child. Won't hear a word against it.
DS has got through lots of new situations with "Grownups come back".
Note to self: make DD watch "When you have to go potty go right away" on repeat ASAP.

YANBU, but even if you were - it's ok to make mistakes, try to fix them and learn from them too.

I didn't grow up watching Mr Rogers. By the time I saw it, I was way too cynical to enjoy it.

I know it's good for the kids. But all the adults on the show are so freaking perfect- I hate them! I'd rather watch Peppa Pig or even Paw Patrol with the kids.
