Not aibu posting for traffic.

Baby is 5 weeks old. Stopped bleeding about a week plus ago but since Saturday I’ve started again. It’s bright red blood, a few tiny clots the size of half a pea (about 4 of them) having to change every 3 hours ish. I combi feed but baby has been feeding more on my boob lately. Is it too early for me to be having a period??

No, it’s not too early for a period. Unfortunately.

Could still be the lochia. Mine went on for about 6 weeks, and would stop and then get heavier if I did too much around the house or took the pram out.
The midwives told me that clots are nothing to worry about unless they are bigger than a 50p

Not too early mine all returned 5 weeks pp despite ebf, no dummies, formula and feeding 1/2 hourly. Returned 5 weeks 4 times without fail.

My periods resumed their 4 week cycle exactly 4 weeks after giving birth both times! (and I was exclusively breastfeeding....)

No formula*

Sadly not uncommon, my periods returned within 6 weeks of birth everytime, 2 of my dc were bottle fed and 2 were breast fed.
