Has anyone obtained a specific issue order through the courts in Scotland for a change of name? My son was born in 2011... father has had no contact since 2013 (has only met him about 10 times) pays no maintenance etc. He has PR as on birth certificate. Left him when son was born due to domestic abuse, he is in and out of jail for violent crimes and an alcoholic.
My son has been known as my surname which I officially changed via deed poll at Christmas time... everywhere has accepted this except the passport office. Has anyone got any experience of getting a specific issue order?
