To take vitamin supplements

I was wondering what sort of vitamin supplements people take and why? And do they actually make a difference? My main reasons for wanting to take supplements is fatigue / low mood and energy / not always eating enough fruit and veg / no milk / I also suffer from endometriosis.

I take iron because the iron tablets the GP gives me make me so constipated it puts me off taking them.
Calcium because my teeth and bones need a boost.
Magnesium ditto teeth and bones but also because I came off anti depressants. Its worked for me, but I'm doing it under the supervision of my GP.

Cod liver oil- my joints are bad, vitamin d - my body is deficient, and the gp wanted me to keep taking an otc one after I finished the high dose prescription

Go to the doctors, explain how you feel and ask if they think supplements may help or ask for a blood test to determined if you do need them. I have slight anemia (comes and goes through the years) so I don’t always have a prescription for tablets so try to keep myself topped up with supplements and if it gets bad I go to the doctors, get a blood test and a prescription for iron tablets

10,000iu vitamin D3 daily. Stopped my aching joints, my skin, hair and nails have never been better, I've not caught a cold this winter and I'm sleeping much better.

They work wonders for me.

I was advised to take b vitamins to help with endo related crappiness. But then I had to start taking other vitamins for other reasons, and was convinced I would start rattling when walking. The best I've ever felt is when taking a pregnancy multivitamin and that's all i take now

I take iron, due to anemia. Krill oil, Bimuno powder (to help with sleep) and a herbal, valerian based sleeping tablet....for obvious reasons.
