DH took DSS to a birthday party earlier, I stayed at home with DS (14mo). On his way back, DH text me to say he was stopping off at McDonald's and did I want anything?

I replied (annoyingly in several different messages because I'm a funny fucker like that):
"Hmm tempting...
Maybe a cheeseburger?
WAIT.
Do I want a grand big mac? I have been meaning to try one...
TOO MANY DECISIONS."

DH replied "I will make the decision for you 😉"

Came home and he had got me....two cheeseburgers. He got himself a grand big mac meal and a cheeseburger, and got me two cheeseburgers.

His defence was that he didn't see the part of my message where I mentioned the grand big mac because I was being annoying and sending several messages in one go valid point but I should probably still LTB right?

Aaarrrgghhhh why would you do that?! Send all those messages I mean! I could never be doing with that level of indecision, I would have brought you home a McSalad or whatever it is they serve nowadays! But I am quite Joey Tribbiani about being able to access food quickly with no messing about

Nobody needs to "try" a Grand Mac really. If you want a Big Mac but you would like a bigger-than-usual Big Mac, you get a Grand Mac. I wouldn't tolerate any indecisiveness here I'm afraid, OP. I also hate it when people send me loads of separate messages instead of one proper message. I think your DH should LTB and take your cheeseburgers with him.

That's me told we are both the worst for multiple messaging but I brought this upon myself. Maybe it's best to go our separate ways - he can find someone who wants two cheeseburgers, and I can find someone who would buy me a grand big mac when buying one for themselves anyway...

If it helps I am a lover of the Big Mac, tried a Grand Mac on Thursday and it made me feel really poorly. I was tasting onion repeating on me for hours ;/

My colleague said the grand Big Mac was shit anyway. So maybe you got the better deal?!

I hadn't had a McDonald's for years. Finally had one on the motorway a few months ago. So disappointing. I remembered it as being yummy but a bit filthy (not literally!). It was awful. Soggy veggie burger, soggy chips, watery Diet Coke... will be another ten years before I go there again, even though DP loves it. Apart from the mcflurry's. THOSE are still excellent.

Grand big mac was pants you didn't miss out. Two double cheeseburgers would have been acceptable

I get stung by multiple messages being missed OP, it really is your own fault, both for the multiple texts and for marrying a man who doesn't innately know your burger preferences

Punt DH always does. I assume most people (myself included) don't! Which is part of my confusion. I asked for a cheeseburger, and then suggested maybe a grand mac...but he got me two cheeseburger? Madness.
