Hush

With all the enthusiasm about Hush on here I decided to spend £125 (what was I thinking?!) on a wool jumper before Christmas. It now resembles a bally 10yo jumper my DF wears... what a waste and disappointment. No joy sparked.

I've never heard of Hush, off to Google....

Hush is really overrated, imho. It seems to be very popular with bloggers, but I've been disappointed with value /price. The customer services leave a lot to be desired as well. I wouldn't buy again.

aaaaargghhhhelpme · 17/02/2018 11:42

Hush sold my details off to a million companies so I was bombarded with shit

I traced it all back to them. And they were pretty wet about the whole thing. Didnt admit it till I pointed out they had to then didn't understand why I was so pissed off.

Anyway the dress I bought was over priced and is totally lopsided. I get it was supposed to dip up at the front and back. But the right side is substantially longer than the left so it trails on the ground. I can't wear the fucker without heels when I bought it as a casual floaty summer dress.

I occasionally see things that look nice in the picture but I remind myself it'll probably look shit on. No idea why mumsnet bloody loves them

Oh, is Hush a clothes shop?

I read the thread title and my brain was like, "Na na na na, na na na na naaaaaa..!

Only1scoop · 18/02/2018 09:00

I get the catalogue through for some reason

Always bin it

So uninspiring

BarbaraofSevillle · 18/02/2018 09:22

Oh, how disappointing. Not quite the same expense, but I spent about £40 on a jumper from Oasis before Christmas, and that is now a bobbly rag suitable only for dog walking and slobbing round the house.

The £18 one I bought from Asda on the same day, and have worn a similar amount of times, is still in perfect condition.

It really is a case of 'you get what you pay for' being meaningless a lot of the time.
