I think it's pretty obvious it's mocking the Daily Mail sensationalising everything that happens around the time of a breakdown of anyone even vaguely well-known.

I did use the word "lighthearted" twice and then clarify at the end that I was getting at the DM.

Oh, I was a bit over invested in this couple and that's sad to hear.
