For not telling DH...

That I was going to bed!

DH has accused me of being not a very nice person this morning as I didn't tell him I was going to bed.

We weren't really talking anyway after an argument the previous day and I had spent the evening after getting in from work trying to talk, make conversation while also doing the housework and playing with DD but he wasn't interested and we'd had no more than a couple of sentences conversation all night.

After DD was bathed and in bed I showered, came downstairs, asked if he wanted anything and then said ok well I'm going to go upstairs and put the washing away. I thought I had then said and go to bed but apparently didn't.

He barely acknowledged I had spoken to him so off I went, put the washing away and went to bed. DH came up later. This morning when I got up he asked why I hadn't told him I had gone to bed and proceeded to call me a s* wife for not telling him.

I gave up on having any decent conversation at 6am and went to work!

So he gives you silent treatment and then calls you a shit wife for not talking to him?

He is a gaslighting prick, isn't? Is he always like this?

YANBU! He was in a huff and disappointed you didn't react to it. Now starting again this morn.

Yes he is quite often like this, he can throw a better tantrum than a toddler!
