To eat all the profiteroles...

My DH has abandoned me on Valentine's Day once again, to go to the pub with his friends.

AIBU to have eaten the whole stack of M&S profiteroles that I told him we would eat together when he returned?!

If IAMBU then sadly it's too late as they have gone, and were delightful Grin

He forfeited any right to profiteroles when he went off with his mates on valentines day imo.

Yanbu. I would have done the same.

bettydraper31 · 14/02/2018 20:38

I would have totally done the same too! And would already be asleep when he got home too! Happy profiterole day to you!

Ummmmgogo · 14/02/2018 20:39

he will probably be relieved profiteroles are gross!

FoofFighter · 14/02/2018 20:40

YANBU Thanks

SchoolMoney · 14/02/2018 20:40

Yanbu at all. Especially if they weren't a surprise. He made his choice!

YABU! Profiteroles are delicious and one of your five a day. I'd have licked the plate, too.

Oh no Ummmm he loves a profiterole and I was thinking about that with every bit I took!

Thanks Betty and a very happy profiterole day it is Grin

I would be drinking the bottle of wine too but I ran out of room and have a new born so just enjoying a glass! Maybe I could hide the rest, squirrel it away?!

Btw for future reference the coOp profiteroles are the best everrrrrr

Ummmmgogo · 14/02/2018 20:43

@whooo. you are very wrong! apple crumble is nice. profiteroles look tempting but when you taste them it's just a ball of disappointment.

Ummmmgogo · 14/02/2018 20:44

lol @lion he should have been home then shouldn't he. no sympathy for him from me Grin

TeeBee · 14/02/2018 20:44

OP, one glass of wine and throw the rest down the sink Grin

Tistheseason17 · 14/02/2018 20:44

M&S pyramids of profiteroles are easy to do in one sitting 🤣🤣

TheLionQueen1 · 14/02/2018 20:45

Foof I haven't tried them! Maybe tomorrow night, you can never have too many profiteroles, he could buy them for me as an apology for tonight?!

TheLionQueen1 · 14/02/2018 20:46

Tee Shock down the sink?! I couldn't do that to a bottle of wine, although the red wine with this deal really isn't particularly nice!!
