I've been seeing a lot of stuff about sex robots for a while now and just don't get it. All the hype around it.
I could understand if it was a medical thing, for people that had difficulty having sex with people due to disabilities etc, as well as why it might be useful in difficult ethical situations, i.e with people with learning or mental age difficulties, but who are also displaying 'needs'. I'm sorry if I haven't worded that correctly, I don't mean to offend anyone.
But this isn't, it feels a tiny bit like they want to replace normal human intercourse/interaction.
Is it just channel 5 weirdos taking things too far (see I married my car, my doll loves me etc)?
