Sorry I am really rubbish at working these things out but if I was a teacher for 20 years just starting now.

Earning up to m6 so just over 30k

Can anyone estimate how much would this be worth?

Enough to live?

Aghh I hate getting old.

I'm sure that there's a calculator on the teachers pension website you can use. That's how I worked mine out

ChasedByBees · 14/02/2018 11:52

Don’t you receive statements? If not, could you request one from the pension administrator?

Elizanotlittle · 14/02/2018 11:55

I have just started so the statements aren't much help at the moment.

Try the online calculator on the website.

I think it is still 1/80th of your final salary averaged over last 3? years of service for every year you've worked. If you work part-time the number of years is calculated to full time equivalent eg 2 years at .5 equals 1 year of service.
