AIBU to want a new sofa?

Moved house 4 months ago and our living room is smaller than the previous house (but has a kitchen diner as another family room.)

Our sofas are 4 years old and in pretty good nick except a few marks on DH sofa from slobbishness.

I want new sofas- the current ones are too bulky and take over a lot of the space. DH says it’s ridiculous bearing in mind ours aren’t that old and we’re reasonably expensive. New ones are £1000 and we have the cash so yes it might be a bit wasteful (could sell these on Gumtree etc) but AIBU??

YANBU if you can afford the sofa and there isn't any thing else that the money would be better put to use.

4 years old is a new sofa. Ours is about 45 years old (not an exageration)

I think you should donate your sofas to maybe a fellow Mumsnetter who needs bigger sofas but can't afford it. Maybe someone whose nickname starts with a W. Maybe. Ahem.
