Life choices.

So, on a lot of threads I see the same arguements...

It’s a life choice to have children, or not. A life choice to work, or not. A life choice to marry, be single, have a career, buy a house.

All these choices are judged by others in some way as being good or bad.

I’m just curious how many people have lived their lives fully planned and how many just go with the flow. And if you have lived it fully planned are you content and successful (in terms of the expectations of society) or not and the same if you live life going with the flow.

Personally most of my life has been go with the flow. I’m now wondering if I should be making plans for the next stage and if it’s better to plan or continue as I have been.

I have found its better to go with the flow. I have a very different life now then I had planned due to disability. It’s taught me to live life and just go with it really

Also I think you would have to be very lucky to have everything work out how you had planned. I think you can focus on something such as moving house in the next few years or having kids but to absolutely plan in my experience just leads to disappointment

I'd say my life has been a bit of both. I may go with the flow, but my little boat has always had a rudder!
