I've made this roulade recipe many times before and it's always been fine, it's pretty basic, you mix egg yolks with sugar and then add in melted chocolate, this time when I did it it congeled and went stuff and lumpy and wouldn't mix :(
The chocolate was cooled as the recipe stated but not cold obviously as it was melted. The only thing I can think is that the eggs were quite small so maybe I should have added another yolk? Although once the sugar and egg was mixed it looked liquidy enough!
Any suggestions would be much appreciated!
