at the prevalence of violence by men against women, just did a quick and dirty tally of an online newspaper’s headlines and FIFTEEN are related to acts of violence by men against women, just one day’s reporting, feels like this problem will never be truly addressed

What was the sample and were the stories replicated or did you buy 15 papers and each had a different headline story in volving different victims and perps? ?

user764329056 · 09/02/2018 12:05

They were all different reports of separate incidents on one newspaper’s website

Don't tell me, then there was a story about how rape trials are to be reviewed because a couple of men were found incorrectly guilty?

Not that I'm suggesting it's ok, because it isn't, but I've never heard the MSM calling for a review of rape trials because the conviction rate is not a kick in the arse off of 0%.

Didn’t include that in the count Julianna, God it’s depressing, just a normal day’s reporting and so many incidents of violence against women

The one where the man murdered a woman with a car jack. Just horrific.

It's beyond me how the DM and suchlike can run these stories every single day and still be such bastions of misogyny.

I can only conclude that they hate us, and think we deserve it

babyccinoo · 09/02/2018 12:42

I can't bring myself to read about the car jacking assault. The poor student who was stabbed 75 times by her cunt of an ex was bad enough.

JuliannaBixby · 09/02/2018 12:57

I haven't read it either, the headline was horrifying enough.

And they showed the CCTV footage of that guy on the news. Still, all in a day's work, eh?
