Open doors on the coldest week of the year

I’m currently living in a rented flat and my landlord has commissioned a refurb of the rear doors - there are two - one in the kitchen and one from the bedroom. Here’s the thing - the guy is coming tomorrow and as I understand it he’s taking the doors off and stripping the paint etc. I had no issue but have been reading weather warnings for how cold it’s going to be tomorrow - wibu to ask that it’s put off for a week? I don’t really want to mess them around, but think we are going to be freezing!

Ask him to postpone it till the summer!

Go somewhere warm and leave him to it.

K2 - I work from Home so going out not really an option (yes I could in theory go to a coffee shop, but this is I think for several days - and isn’t really ideal as I usually have three monitors going plus take a lot of calls etc)

Can't you just isolate yourself in another room, keep the door to that room closed and just heat that room? And wear lots of layers.

Thanks for messages - went ahead and it’s so much worse than I realised - entire kitchen out of bounds every day (whole thing covered in plastic), so no kettle no access to my fridge etc. Am decamping elsewhere for the duration. My fault for not asking details in advance (though surely a paint job isn’t going to go well in snow anyways!
