To think JK is a total dick? (Light-hearted thread)

He seems to be hammering home the point that he and his team help the people who appear on his show. And maybe they do, but they have to air their dirty laundry first and mostly get shouted at by him. Would you do this show, just to get help? (I'm a new sahm and daytime TV is an eye opener!)

Christ I'm totally out of the loop. No idea who you're talking about. I thought it was about J K Rowling 😀

Switch off the TV.

JK is the modern day equivalent of Victorians visiting the asylum for entertainment, totally inhumane.

  • me too! Or that bloke from jarimoquai.

highinthesky - I emphasise the words light hearted. I'm certainly not a die hard JK fan - just wondering what people think. Ladies, I had always made jokes about Jeremy Kyle when I worked, but had no idea how seriously this guy took himself!

It’s lighthearted but I personally think life is too short for daytime TV. Coffee and a book whilst the baby sleeps, now that’s real pleasure.

I agree. We had just come back from a long walk and I am as just flicking through channels as I decided to either do some chores or read my book. It just seemed odd that the whole theme was "we are changing people's lives" when the impression I've always had was that it was just plain old circus TV.
