To think I should get a refund from hairdresser?

I had hair extensions put in and after 2 weeks they want awful ... so bushy/frizzy.

Hairdresser took them out and said she would refund me for the hair but not the application as that was fine (in her words). So I’m down £100 for nothing.

My argument is she owes a duty of care to her customers whether her application was good or bad.

If she sold you the hair it's her problem and she owes you a refund. If you provided the hair then she owes you nothing.

She provided the hair

In which case your contract was with her - if she used poor quality goods from her supplier then she needs to take it up with them and in the meantime refund you completely. Given that she's acknowledged there is a problem (refunding part of your money) she legally doesn't have a leg to stand on. If she refuses take her to the small claims court.

Tell her to gove you u a full refund or you will contact trading standards or small claims court. Take pictures for proof.
