Cost of brakes

Just back from picking my car up from the garage, is £114 reasonable for replacing front brake pads, discs and the labour?? I thought it was but my friend looked a bit surprised. Now wondering if I’m being ripped off??? Blush

In December I had new front discs and brakes which cost £170 so I would say you got a good price.

Sounds ok to me. Mine was £180 last month for rear discs and pads. They'd had a bugger doing to as were so worn metal had started to fuse.....

Bloody bargain of you ask me.....don’t ask what I paid for mine (4x4)!

If not of

That has reassured me, honestly was beginning to think I was being totally ripped off, when in actual fact, maybe her face reflected the bargain she thought I’d got! Grin

Difficult to say without knowing the exact car but I’d say that’s pretty damn cheap. Not many cars you’d get front discs, pads and labour for £114! One of my sets of front pads costs 3x that alone!
