Bedding for cold weather

Hi all, I'm setting up my bedding for our baby, what's the best duvet to get for babies for winter. Also our bedroom is where our baby will be sharing room with us and it is always cold especially in the winter, so need something that can keep baby warm. Appreciate any advice you have, thanks.

Babies aren't supposed to have duvets until they're over a year old.

Get one of those sleep sack things.

Have you had the leaflets around safe sleeping?

Duvets aren't recommended , just layered blankets or a sleeping bag.

Have you done other things like get thermal curtains, rug under cot rather than a wooden floor?

The best thing that you can do is use a thermometer, babies room should be 16-20C (61-68F) and work out affordable safe heating.

Baby grobag, they come with a thremometer that you put in the bed room and it tells you what they should wear as well(vest, sleep suit etc).Duvets are a no-no for babies.

Please don’t use a duvet or loose covers with your baby.

A baby shouldn't have a duvet until they are a year old.
Our baby was born in September. He had the coverlet from the crib bedding set and a cellular blanket when he was in the crib.
Then the coverlet and fleece blanket from the cot bedding set in the cot.
He was warm enough.

Grobags come in various togs too. You can even get baby sleeping bags with arms.
