Drinking alcohol make my period come back

I got my first period last week after having a baby 3 months ago it was very heavy that I had to stay in hospital for two days iv been taking tranexamic acid to calm the bleeding iv finished them last night and now we have a family gathering to go to tomorrow night I was just wondering would it be any harm to have a few drinks or could this make the bleeding come back worse.. It's more or less just spotting now.. Any replies would be really appreciated as I don't know what to do thanks in advance

Did the hospital identify the cause of such heavy bleeding?

They have put it down to a very heavy first period after having the baby.. They said the linning of the womb was very thick so it had to break down

No real advice, sorry. I have v v v heavy periods due to PCOS, so I feel loads of empathy for you. I think a lot of people tend not to understand just how disruptive it is. Hope it stays light! Especially with the party x

Party was last night had a fab time and period has stopped.. Just wondering could that end up being As heavy next month or would that be over having the baby.. Do u take anything to lessen blood loss?
