They moved in on Saturday, and didn’t say hi or respond to us smiling and waving.

Sunday they had 3 screaming rows and my dc with ASD was terrified, so I explained moving was stressful etc.

They’ve also left their tap running since yesterday morning, which is driving me insane as it’s making me need the loo!

Then yesterday my dc asks me what that noise is at 6.30pm, they are only having sex in the kitchen! Theirs not mine lol.

So I’ve just been doing a bit of maths with dc, we HE, and they are at it again!

Now I realise it’s their house they can have sex whenever and wherever but omg, how do I hide this racket from my kids? Or what do I do?

They know what sex is due to sex ed, the minimal science part... but this is still very awkward. Thankfully the guy doesn’t last long. Grin

They must hear us, thin walls, so surely they know we can hear them?
We have a young couple the other side, and we never hear them, very respectful of us and us them.

I’d die of embarrassment... I’m sure I’m BU but I never realised I was such a prude and I also never thought of how to hide sex noises in the middle of the day from my kids.

Why have hey left the tap running ? (Misses the point entirely)

Re the sex ... all clap very loudly when he finishes

DaisyChainsForever · 31/01/2018 15:42

Yes to the clapping!! 😂😂

Helllllooooooo · 31/01/2018 15:42

I don’t know, but they are in. I’ve been to the loo twice in an hour lol

Yes, clap loudly and cheer after the sex, every time. Eventually they may get the point about noise.

Helllllooooooo · 31/01/2018 15:45

I love the clapping! Great idea thank you.

I know that clapping works - happened to us once when we got a bit carried away!
Fortunately we were very good friends with the neighbours and they did it in fun rather than as a complaint. Still very embarrassing though.

Applause is excellent. Cheer and shout "Well done!" as well.

TheDayIBroke · 31/01/2018 16:19

We have neighbours like this. It is beyond a joke. And, no, nothing makes them pipe the fuck down. Sad

AlbertaSimmons · 31/01/2018 16:23

Our previous neighbours used to have sex every night at exactly 10.30pm. Eventually I started waiting until after 10.35 they'd finished to go up to bed (couldn't hear them downstairs). It wasn't funny, made me a bit anxious actually.

ijustwannadance · 31/01/2018 16:24

Put music on load every time. Barry White maybe.

ijustwannadance · 31/01/2018 16:25

*Loud

Bluelady · 31/01/2018 16:26

Or Je T'aime.

LexieLulu · 31/01/2018 16:29

Mimic them, start shouting YESSSSSS OOOOOOOHHH BABBYYYYYY at the wall 😂 it would at least ruin their mood

TheBairnsMaw · 31/01/2018 16:29

Recorder practise when they're dtd.

Helllllooooooo · 31/01/2018 16:43

Hahahaha guys I am loving these ideas!! I have a good few things to do it is fails, let’s just hope he can curb his premature ending by the time I get Barry on! Wink
