Is this a good idea or not?

My sister has been having a tough time recently and had a suicide attempt. Lucky she was found and is ok physically but feeling very low. I am thinking about making her a card with a collage of photos of her with family and friends to remind her how many people care and love her. Do you think this would be nice or a bad idea? I don't want to put any pressure on her or make her feel worse about things. Or any other ideas if this is a bad one?

Why not? When we were both skint as hell and going through various shite my sister made me a photo book for a birthday present using photos out of my mum's albums and I treasure it now twenty years on. I think it's a lovely idea.

I'm sorry you're going through this with your sister. I think it's a really lovely idea. I've been in a similar place as your sister (a very long time ago) and I would've loved something like that x

Lovely thought and she’s lucky she’s got you

Yes a good idea if they are family or close friends photos. There are maybe some photos best to avoid if they would put on pressure. For example a photo of the work Christmas do if she is currently signed off work, or anything like that.

Also small gifts like chocolate, simple flowers, bubble bath can be positive things to receive if you feel depressed.

Is she in contact with the people that you are going to put in and do they chat and make time for her regularly?

Can't you just visit to start with?
