Kept hearing jokes about people doing it but honestly thought no one would be stupid enough to....yet there they are. In droves Hmm

I think people are getting worse at risk assessment - people are becoming more desperate to be unique and distinctive, and to get attention on social media and to be seen as a ‘crazy guy’.

It’s partly an inevitable result of life becoming less precarious, with regulation and safety improvements to things like cars and food standards.
