Top drop by PIL house for impromptu visit?

I've been asked to let my PIL know when we (me, DH and LO) are over a nasty cold as they are desperate to visit LO. Thing is she caught the cold when they brought BIL to our house who had the cold in the first place for a random visit late last week!!

WIBU to visit randomly to share the wealth of germs they so kindly bestowed on us in the first place to make my sleep deprived, snotty self feel better!?

May be feeling particularly sore as I'm pregnant so can't take cold and flu stuff but of course, lighthearted. Just considering my revenge as I sulk.

I'd actually do that.

It would be interesting to see whether they are just delighted to see you (and so presumably genuinely a bit dim about the idea that they shouldn't have brought BIL over) or if they immediately get agitated or annoyed that you have a cold.

If the latter, then they will get a sharp lesson in how not to act in future. You look astonished and say 'But hang on, YOU brought BIL around when you knew he had a cold, so we thought you wouldn't mind-? If you are bothered, why were you ok bringing BIL to ours and letting us catch it?

Might be a good way to ensure you don't have this problem again!
