i had a very very strong coffee at about 3pm and am still buzzing.

LineySt · 30/01/2018 01:04

Same here.

And a car alarm just went off outside my house and now the neighbours are awake and ranting on through the wall about being woken up (not at me, to each other - not my car), just as I thought I might try and attempt sleep.

ExecutiveDiamondBossBabeHun · 30/01/2018 01:08

Me Sad drank coke earlier as I have an upset tummy and am convinced it helps. .. honestly... it does not aid sleep though. Bastard coke.

TroubledTribble28 · 30/01/2018 01:08

Can I recommend the Humpty Dumpty method of inducing sleep? Grin (Its very different to the humpy pumpy style I assure you.

In your head (or out loud if you want to sound a bit nutty):

Humpty
Humpty Dumpty
Humpty Dumpty sat ... etc adding the next word in the rhyme each time until you sleep Grin

TwoHatsTooMany · 30/01/2018 01:09

Count me in, only fell asleep for 20 mins, tried to come up to bed as I woke up but nope.
I want to sleeeeeeep

Waddlelikeapenguin · 30/01/2018 01:10

brown LT breathing B!

It's falling asleep while getting the kids to sleep that kills me...

missnevermind · 30/01/2018 01:11

Mee too.
Need to be up at 6

Cheesypasta · 30/01/2018 01:15

I've been tired all day and now can't sleep. Not at work tomorrow though so I'm going to go back to bed after the school run. I can always sleep when I 'treat' myself to a daytime nap in bed.

Glammeup · 30/01/2018 01:20

Me ☹️

brownelephant · 30/01/2018 01:21

getting up to have a glass of water was a mistake.
now my feet are cold, my stomach gurgled and dh still breathes.

DramaAlpaca · 30/01/2018 01:33

I'm going to attempt sleep now. If I don't report back it's worked.

Allthewaves · 30/01/2018 01:36

slept most of morning as feeling pmt drained. I just can't sleep at night

PinkBlueYellow · 30/01/2018 01:43

I fell asleep on the sofa at about 11.30, woke up at 1.30 - now wide awake Confused

It was a really good nap though.

AngeloMysterioso · 30/01/2018 01:51

Me! Up at 6:45ish Sad

CurlyBlueberry · 30/01/2018 02:07

I don't regret the nap I had earlier - but then again I am currently on a night shift Grin

littlepill · 30/01/2018 02:14

Can I add myself? Not so much map but a lie-in. I like the Humoy Pumpy method, Troubled, but no partnee here. Breathing, or otherwise!

Mabelface · 30/01/2018 02:17

wish I could nap now. At hospital with adult ds1 who has suspected appendicitis. Up for work in 4 hours. So tired.

MakeMisogynyAHateCrime · 30/01/2018 02:19

Same, same.
Going to find a bad film to watch on Netflix with a view to it knocking me out with boredom.

CupcakeWithIcing · 30/01/2018 02:24

I attempted to go to bed at 9.30 as I was very tired but all I could think of was that downstairs needed cleaning or else I'd been in a shit mood tomorrow morning waking up to a filthy house.

I am now browsing mumsnet with a clean house and not a yawn in sight......

123bananas · 30/01/2018 02:39

Wish I had a nap earlier. Started my day at 6.30am. Just got in from work now. Got to be up in 4 hours to do school run Sad
