To suggest he does it...

I reluctantly agreed to have my nephew whilst my sister is away on holiday, I say reluctantly as I have 4 kids of my own so don't really need another added onto that as I'm already rushed off my feet and the favour is never returned not that it's hugely relevant but it makes you less likely to want to do things. Anyway she's also asked me if I can go down to her house and feed her animals whilst she is away (this will be next month) her house is just over a mile away from me which may not seem far but it can feel a lot further when walking down there and back with 4 kids. Aibu to suggest that my nephew does it seeing how he is 14 so old enough to go down himself??

I think that is a totally reasonable request. If a 14yo can't handle caring for pets there's a big problem. Don't let yourself be a doormat for your sister. You have huge responsibilities of your own to contend with.

Yanbu.

Good I actually thought I might be unreasonable but there he's pets anyway and I don't have any myself as I don't want the responsibility. I done it last time she was away so I have a feelings she's going to be constantly relying on me as a pet sitter whilst she's away.
