To dismantle fridge fixed unit, as I dropped plastic takeaway lid down the back...

Ok so I completely acknowledge that I sound somewhat mad, however has anyone ever dropped something plastic down the back of the fridge, with absolutely no consequences? We have a fridge that is fixed/encased in the kitchen finish, and so you can't pull it out to look at the back of it easily. Earlier today, I accidentally pushed a plastic takeway lid over the edge and down the back. It's wedged over halfway down. In lieu of Grenfell disaster, I've become very fire risk aware... AIBU to take apart the kitchen unit to get at the back?? I'm guessing that takeaway containers have quite a high melting point and so the medium heat from the fridge coils wouldn't be enough to cause the plastic to catch fire???? ConfusedBlush

You can microwave takeaway containers and they don’t melt. I reckon you’ll be fine!

How did you drop something down the back of an integrated fridge? Is there a gap in your worktop? Or There shouldn't be a gap between fridge top and the worktop but if there is still how did you manage that. Either way don't worry it'll be fine!
