People in relationships moan about how awful their partner Is but won't leave them. LIke what am I suppose to say?? Constant moaning but staying with them expecting to slag them off to me but then be all lovey dovey the next minute. I don't mind you staying with them but don't constantly moan to me how awful they are. Aibu to find this annoying or should I be more understanding?

Where do you epect peopel to go with children in tow? No money, schools to consider, etc?

Or are you Jeremy Corbyn with magic houses?

If it's everyday little gripes I think everyone has those and most people like to have a moan to someone now and again. It doesn't mean they actually expect marriage advice or are looking for a way out of their relationship. Just nod and smile and let them rant.

It is nearly a game in the place I work to compete for the title of most feckless partner. But none of it is serious, it is just about the silly, oddness of living with another human being.

If someone was genuinely moaning that their life was shit, I would be more understanding, it isn't that easy to just walk out on your life!

They don't have kids together or live together. So nothing like that to worry about. People that moan that there partners treat them bad that kind of thing.
