Valentine's day ideas

I'm in a same sex relationship and its my first Valentine's day with a partner, i would like to make it special but i lack any romantic skills, any suggestions would be appreciated

Depends really what you want to do?

Do you want to go out; meal, cinema, bowling?

Do you want to stay home; pamper night with face masks etc, favourite film and popcorn, dinner at home ( loads of 2 can dine for meals in supermarkets at the moment)

Or do you want to go away; spa retreat, hotel, lunch on the Thames or similar

All depends on budget as well, also might have a few issues booking as it's only really 2 weeks away so I'd book sooner rather than later

It is the first valentines I've spent with a partner, she knows this she has said that she just wants to spend time with me, she knows i struggle with romantic ideas lol useless, i was thinking of maybe a meal and a gift? But again im clueless at what gift to get. I've already booked her tickets for the new 50 shades film lol

50 shades is the worst book and film series I have ever come across.

Try and make it personal, a photo book of your first year together? Are there any restaurants that hold particular meaning to you, or you could go to the place you had your first date.
Don't stress too much, I'm sure your oh will love whatever you do

Surely this is something to discuss with her?

Gifts you can sort out yourself but you cant be making separate plans without discussing possible clashes. What if you both make dinner reservation at 7?

Jesus Christ! Op asked for ideas on what to do for Valentine's Day and people are questioning the dynamics of her relationship?

She wants to do something nice and needs help with ideas, she has obviously spoke to oh about it and they have just said to spend it with her so would like some help on what they can do together

I enjoy a candle lit m and s meal for 2 at home!
