Go to the docs and get that new 'wonder' pill they're starting to dish out. The one that slowly gets your body used to the pollen and hth's if you've not heard about it already?

colditz · 28/04/2007 23:03

I am going to drug up on piriton and go to bed, I think.

Benedryl doesn't work on me, that's ridiculous, how can a pharmaceutical drug just not WORK!

It's birch pollen, just looked it up. I never realised that birch pollen and kiwi allergies were closely linked. Probably because I didn't taste a kiwi fruit until I was 17.

ah ah, I didn't know that was in it either! I vaguely recall summat in the Observer about it a few weeks ago, so now you've looked it up, hope it can help you!! if it works, let me know, so I can pester ss's mum to get him on it too

colditz · 28/04/2007 23:13

No, sorry, I mean the pollen that's making me so swollen, facially, is birch pollen.

The count is only moderate at the moment, i am dreading when it gets high! At least I'm not pregnant this year.

my neighbors have a tree that i think is evil, It flowers and like magic, we all start sneezing. I want to chop it down in the night

agnesnitt · 01/05/2007 21:55

no - I want to ban the cultivation of oilseed rape: if I drive past a field of the stuff, my eyes start running so much I can't see, so it's dangerous

tigi · 01/05/2007 22:15

My eyes have been running for the last two weeks, not itchy, watery - they never have before , is it this then?

colditz · 01/05/2007 22:16

Today, we will mostly be reducing the rollicking green fields of Leicestershire to a smoldering pile of ash.

Roskva · 01/05/2007 22:26

tigi, for me that nasty yellow stuff is the worst offender.

colditz · 01/05/2007 22:38

Could also be birch pollen, which I believe is what sets me off.
