To go for lunch

Two nights ago I was up all night with sickness and diarrhoea. Haven't been sick or diarrhoea since 9am yesterday. Would I be unreasonable to go out for a lunch which I had planned with friends?

I think it depends on why you were unwell, if it was something you couldn't pass on like food poisoning I would say it's fine but if you've had a bug that could be contagious I wouldn't go unless it had been 48 hours.

I wouldn't. You can't say it was definitely food poisoning.

If you feel OK, I'd go but I would have anything too rich or fatty at lunch.

Weedsnseeds1 · 27/01/2018 10:43

You don't have active D and V, you aren't preparing the food and presumably you are a grown adult who is capable of washing their hands after using the toilet?
Don't see an issue personally.

I'd go. As a pp has said you're not preparing food, and provided you are meticulous about hygiene it'll be fine.
