Mixing alcohol and painkillers?

I took 2 nurofen at 9am this morning and boyfriend has booked a table for 8 pm...
Am I safe to have a few cocktails?
11 hours later?

Alcohol and ibuprofen will be fine. Unless you're pregnant, in which case it's a really bad idea!

In my younger partying days I often took paracetamol with vodka ..... and I'm still here. Although obviously now being older and wiser I wouldn't do it - idiot .....
