not to like the fact children have there friends come and play!!

my oldest DS has his best friend to play they have argued his friend has punchd ds2 in the stomach I got cross!!!!

I know I am unreasonable but he always seems to come to our house ad I have just had a phone call to say they are going to be late picking him up I feel a bit used!!!

Knock it on the head for a few weeks so they all appreciate you putting up with play date hell. If ds asks for him to come play say 'it's not a good time right now maybe xx could invite you to their house?' Obv you can't totally cancel playdates or your ds would lose out on friendships. If the parents are taking advantage set a regular day friend can come and thats that, no nagging every afternoon ca xx come etc. This is what a friend of mine did with a troublesome child who began calling her and her partner mum and dad as she was there so often!!! Told her daughter friend could come after school every other monday only. She finds it hard to say no when put on the spot and this seems to have solved the problem.
