Absolutely do not know why this has happened but after watching DVD tonight am practically inconsollable for poor parentless Gavroche!

He's not parentless he is the other child of the Thernardiers (or however you spell it) - although that's possibly worse than being an orphan!

I didn't know they were his parents.

That scene always gets me "better look out when the pup...grows..." 😭

HarveySchlumpfenburger · 21/01/2018 22:43

He may as well have been parentless for all the fucks they gave about him. Mind you Eponine didn’t fare much better once they could no longer use Cosette as the family scape goat.

I cried throughout the entire film.

There was a one off 'see again' type showing one afternoon and I just blubbed right through it.

I had to get to work sharpish afterwards and called a taxi.

The driver took one look at my blotched and puffy face and asked if I was OK.

He kept glancing in the rear view at me the entire journey, asking me if I was OK, what the film was and how much did I have to drink.

Meanwhile, I had the window down, trying to dry my face in the breeze.

He only relaxed when I got out of the cab and paid him a tenner for a fiver's journey....

Oh, and when Javert pins his medal on him

So many tearful moments in Les Mis! I love it! Poor little Gavroche. I particularly love the barricade scene on stage where the barricade rotates and you see Enjolras’ body sprawled with his flag.

Also love On My Own - the ultimate anthem to unrequited love! Gets me every time.

Enjolras' death always has me in tears. Especially in the stage show when the barricade turns & he's lying there. Then Marius singing Empty Chairs just has me sobbing.
