Fairly new to Words with Friends. Really enjoying so far. Mostly with people I know IRL but have accepted a few challenges from randomers.

However I've received several messages from men I'm playing with, commenting on my picture, generally making advances/lewd comments/being sexist ("your words aren't bad for a girl", being serious), etc etc.

AIBU to be thoroughly depressed? Is there ANYWHERE that certain men will not try to make such comments/behaviour?

I'm a dude, and I think I'd be happy if I had a lot of girls coming onto me oh silly us, I forgot we are supposed to be flattered with unwanted, unsolicited male attention.
I know we shouldn't have to, but when I played I made my pic and name something non gende specific. (I got casual ageism thrown into the mix too, just for variety)

I had it linked to my Facebook account, so I've severed that link and changed my photo. I dont want to block random people from challenging me, but if it comes to that, I will. What a shame. Innocent game being ruined by those who can't respect boundaries. Nowhere is safe

Scrabble is filth-free these days. You can't identify the opponent, you can't choose your opponent (you either play a friend or a randomer) and chat won't send any rude words.

According to MrrFluffleBum (sic) I wonder how old I need to get before randoms on the internet leave me alone? At 59 can I hope it will stop soon?
