Feedback - love it or loathe it?

Yes I know we all rely on feedbacks when buying or booking something on line but really I've had enough. In the old(er) days I would religiously make sure I left feedback for everyone I dealt with - after all it's good manners, not much to ask from a seller or company putting the work in and it helps other customers. But now I DO NOT CARE. Feedback used to be a few simple questions; now they want a short story on your experience and sometimes photos!! I'm going on feedback strike for the foreseeable future. Do you feel the same or do you love/not mind giving it?

I don't tend to bother giving feedback unless it's particularly good or bad, no one cares if I think something is 'fine' and nor should they.
