To think mini pill has helped my anxiety?

I seriously don’t know if I am taking 2+2 and making 5!

I have had anxiety since my first panic attack when I was 12. It has ebbed and flowed, as these things do and I’ve had therapy and one unhelpful stint on medication a very long time ago. I have pretty much come to terms with living in an almost constant state of low level anxiety, which almost crosses into obsessive thoughts (i.e I have to check my internet banking balance every morning when I wake up, I fear that mice are in the house and check a lot). Unpleasant, but I have got by.

I started the mini-pill Feanolla, three weeks ago. I have never taken it before and to be honest I have been half expecting it to negatively affect my mood. But I feel calmer and less anxious. Almost placated, if that makes sense? AIBU to think the pill could be having this effect?

I found being on the mini pill made me calmer. The impact of hormones on individuals varies so much so I wouldn’t dismiss the idea.

That’s interesting Hadenough, did the effect last?

I've been on Cerelle 18 months and it hasn't done anything for my anxiety - would be lovely! If it's working for you, that's wonderful and I want some of what you've got.

Don't see why it couldn't be the mini pill. Didn't have that effect on me, quite the opposite really, but pregnancy did.
