To wonder if my DH is cheating based on this?

I borrowed DH's phone to look at my FB account. When I typed Facebook in search box it comes up with Facebook dating so I'm guessing its a site he has been on. He works away lot. Don't want to go on the site but wondered star this site is? Am I being crazy!

Didn't even know there was a Facebook dating site. Was anything else amiss ? It always brings a lot of options up if I type Facebook in

Sorry what I meant is that when you start to type in search box Facebook it predicts Facebook dating as a site already used.

Is this on an iPhone?
When I type in Facebook on mine it just comes up with Facebook. Most search things like that only bring up results that the phone thinks will be applicable based on past use.

It's not an option that comes up on my phone if I tap Facebook into google or browser search bar and I have never heard of it before today! That said he isn't necessarily up to no good I have many random things I have searched over the years including now Facebook dating although I'm not on it! Do you have any other reasons to doubt?

I’ve just tried on google and the first thing on the list was just “Facebook”, the second was Facebook plus a phrase I searched for a few hours ago.

Hmmm I've had all sorts of random suggestions come up on my search, sometimes it provides the most common two words or phrases. Is Facebook dating even a thing??

I do know what you mean about it coming up because it's used to you going for that page, but it will also give you other options based on what you've been looking at and not necessarily sites or pages you want. He could have read an article and now now-it-all-google is trying to be bloody helpful.

The logical thing to do would be to search his history to see if he had actually been on a Facebook dating related page.

I'd be suspicious since it'd normally only come up if you've been on it... though I wouldn't have thought he'd let you use his phone if he had something to hide?
At this point I suppose you need to either ask him or go snooping. Depending what your instinct tells you and how you predict this ending.

Try putting Facebook into the actual phone search facility. You might see results conected to texts or emails from FB dating.

It's not exactly conclusive - I've mistyped things, looked up sites because of something I've read even though I have no intention of using them, looked up things for a friend, etc. I can see why you're suspicions are raised, but it's fairly tenuous on it's own. I just looked and there doesn't even seem to be a facebook dating site.

I didn't even know that there was a facebook dating, I've just tried and I had to type "facebook d" before it was suggested

There is no site Facebook dating when you put it into google it just brings up dating sites etc. I am not too sure how this happens sorry not much help here. Perhaps you should just explain to him what has happened and see what he says Flowers

You can register on a lot of dating sites using your FB profile rather than filling in endless forms.......that's what FB dating means. I'd be a bit wary that is what he's been doing, sadly. Hope you're ok OP.

Google suggests searches based on user history. This may or may not be significant
Could be as innocent as single mate signed up telling your dh,both search and talk
I look up all random stuff eg estate agent sites,job searches,I’m not actually going to do it though
So you need to ask him and not torture yourself with the what ifs and idle speculation
