To brag about finally getting a job?

After working like mad on my STEM-related course, enduring the comments of fellow male students who were VERY impressed with themselves and liked to point out to me all the ways they thought I was doing everything wrong, and spending about six days into preparing for the ALL-DAY interview . . .

. . . I've bagged the job of my dreaaaammmss!! And the pay is so much more than I thought I'd get!

I can't really brag about it to anyone other than my DH, so AIBU to wang on about it a little bit here?
